Nearly 40 SAR Academy middle school students joined hundreds last Friday outside the United Nations Headquarters to rally for the hostages still held captive in Gaza. Or Gat, brother of Carmel Gat z”l, spoke of the urgency to free the hostages and called for a moment of silence to honor the six hostages, including his sister, who was recently tragically killed in captivity. Aviva Siegel, who was released from captivity in November, spoke of the horrific conditions the hostages face. Students stood united with the crowd, waving Israeli flags, singing “Acheinu,” and chanting “Bring Them Home.” May all the hostages return home safely and soon.
