First graders at Yeshivat He’Atid have started their community worker project. Each student has selected an essential community worker to research and write about. Some of these workers will come for class visits. This week, Dr. Michelle Weissman came in to speak to the first grade (including her son, Ariel) about her job as a neonatologist. She explained what she does, displayed some of her medical tools and showed the class a slideshow to add some visual learning. Thank you Dr. Weissman for such an interesting presentation!
