The early childhood and lower school got into the Lag B’Omer spirit with activities in the theme of Rabbi Akiva’s teaching “V’ahavta L’reacha Kamocha” (Love your neighbor as yourself). Students teamed up together in relay races and student-generated games centered on togetherness. They learned to create unity through singing in rounds and heard stories about Lag B’Omer in the library. They partnered together to display their knowledge of Judaic trivia in a quiz game format and used artistic skills to create Lag B’Omer-themed crowns and sun-catchers. The day was a great mix of
learning and fun.
