The yeladim from Kol Chaverim Preschool prepared for Rosh Hashanah by learning all about apples and honey. They measured and graphed how tall they are in apples. In science, the yeladim studied how bees make honey. They enjoyed a yummy treat of tasting apples and honey and voted on their favorite color apple Morah Elana joined each class with a variety of Rosh Hashanah fruits! They enjoyed learning about and tasting pomegranates, rambutans, lychees, gooseberries, dragonfruits, starfruits and more! They learned the names of the different sounds of the shofar and even had Rabbi Shestack from Ahavat Achim in Fair Lawn come blow the shofar for them. Wishing everyone a Shana Tova U’Metukah!
