The Moriah Kindergarteners had a delightful time preparing for Rosh Hashanah, with a juicy exploration of apples! They examined three vibrant varieties: red Gala, yellow Golden Delicious, and green Granny Smith. Through hands-on investigation, they observed and described the unique lines, freckles and colors on each apple, measured their heights using Unifix cubes and weighed the apples in ounces using a scale. By applying the scientific method, they discovered fascinating characteristics about their apples. They carefully recorded their findings in their Investigation Notebooks, capturing the sweet results of their learning. Shana Tova!
