As Shavuot approaches, the sisterhood of Rut and Naomi stands as a strong model for warmth, chesed and wisdom. In this spirit, the Rae Kushner Yeshiva High School hosted a performance night celebrating the myriad talents of its young women. Koleinu, or our voices, showcased students’ varied creative strengths as the women of the community came to cheer on their daughters and friends, while benefiting the Friendship Circle’s LifeTown Building campaign. Among the night’s acts were a number of stellar vocal performances, a dance routine, a figure skating video presentation and more. The evening was a special one for the women and girls to share as a community, as they came together to applaud one another.
