The yeladim of Kol Chaverim Preschool welcomed Rabbi Shestack of Congregation Ahavat Achim in Fair Lawn to come blow shofar for the yeladim. Rabbi Shestack is also the abba of Shalva! He reviewed the different kolot with us and blew them on his shofar. The children compared two shofarot brought in for shape, size and sound. They all received our own shofarot that they all blew together. They ended the class by singing “Dip the Apple in the Honey” altogether. Shana Tova!
