The RYNJ ECD is focused on exploring all of the different themes of Yom Kippur. From crafting with emotions and exploring different feelings, the yeladim began to understand the power of teshuva and acting their very best. Using blocks and scales to learn about weight, they experimented by adding blocks to both sides of the scale and watching what happens when one side is heavier than the other. The yeladim of K3 gathered around a “river,” complete with pretend fish, to do tashlich. After giving some serious thought to what they wanted to throw out this year, they each sketched something personal and meaningful to them that they did not share with others. After singing a special tashlich song, they tossed their notes in the river together as a class. RYNJ wishes the entire community a גמר חתימה טובה.
