(Courtesy of Yad Leah) Sofi Glatt, from West Orange, a seventh grader at Joseph Kushner Hebrew Academy, recently celebrated her bat mitzvah at Yad Leah.

Sofi, along with her friends and family, packed over 600 pieces of clothing to send to Israel. To make their experience more meaningful and personal, they also created dozens of customized clothing gift packages, called Kesher Kits, with handwritten notes to deliver extra love and support to bat mitzvah girls in Israel.
