Find Your Dream Florida Property With Susie Richmond

Newly listed: 212 Somerset K, West Palm Beach, FL 33417

For Susie Richmond, helping people find their perfect home is more than just a job—it’s a calling. Originally from Woodmere, New York, she’s spent the last decade making a name for herself as a real estate agent in West Palm Beach, Florida. Her path to becoming a “real estate matchmaker” is shaped by both her personal journey and passion for connecting people with the homes of their dreams.

Richmond worked as a preschool teacher before entering the world of real estate. Even then, she dabbled in real estate on the side, but it wasn’t until she moved to Florida that she fully embraced it as a career.

“I felt like I needed a fresh start when my husband and I moved south,” Richmond shared with The Jewish Link. “I’ve always been good at working with people, and I wanted to do something where I could help. Going all in with real estate was a natural match.”

The transition to Florida, however, came with its own set of challenges. Moving from New York’s lawyer-driven market to Florida’s realtor-centered system meant learning new rules and adapting to a different pace.

Newly sold: 101 Oxford 600, West Palm Beach, FL 33417

“It was nerve-wracking at first,” Richmond admitted. “It’s a whole different animal here in Florida. In New York, lawyers handle much of the process, but here, realtors do everything from start to finish. So it’s like I was starting over, but I did what I always do. I put my head down, did the work, and learned everything I could. I caught up on things quickly enough.”

Today, Richmond caters to a range of clientele, from families in search of their forever homes to snowbirds looking for the ideal second home or condo. Her commitment to her clients, paired with her keen attention to detail, has established her as a trusted adviser in Florida’s competitive real estate landscape.

“I love meeting people and helping them find exactly what they’re looking for,” she said. “Whether it’s a single-family home, a condo, or something in between, I walk my clients through every step of the process.”

Richmond is passionate about delivering a personalized experience. She invests time to understand her clients’ needs, whether that be a four-bedroom house with a pool or a cozy condo in a peaceful community.

“What sets me apart is that I’m very thorough,” she explained. “I know buying a home is the biggest investment most people will make in their lives, so I make sure they’re getting real value. The key thing for me is making sure that there are no surprises.”

Richmond also goes the extra mile when it comes to navigating the complexities of homeowners’ associations (HOAs), a key part of Florida living that can often overwhelm new buyers. Her process enables buyers to skip many of the pitfalls others experience.

“HOAs can be a hassle, with their rules and hoops to jump through, but I’m there to help,” she said. “I do my own research on each so that I can make sure my clients understand the ins and outs before they buy. I want them to be fully aware of any concerns I might have so they can plan accordingly.”

For Richmond, the reward is more than just closing a sale—it’s the satisfaction of knowing she’s helped families create a future.
With seven children of her own, four of whom now live in Florida, she understands the importance of finding a home where a family can grow and thrive.

“When I help a family with kids find their home, it’s a great feeling,” she shared. “Having been through it myself, I know from a personal angle how stressful it can be, and so I take the lessons that I’ve learned from my own experiences so that others are able to have a much smoother one themselves.”

From condos to single-family homes, Richmond has built a career on trust, attention to detail, and passion for helping people. Whether you’re looking for a forever home or a vacation spot in the Sunshine State, Susie Richmond is ready to guide you through the process with care and expertise.
