Just before Shavuot, the Yeshiva University High School for Boys (MTA) Choir, also known as the YerushaLions, performed at New York City Hall as part of the Jewish Heritage Month Celebration. They performed both the classic “Yerushalayim Shel Zahav” by Naomi Shemer and the ever-popular “Hashem Melech” by Gad Elbaz. The singing was received with applause and praise from the crowd, and the choir hopes to continue to inspire the Jewish community with its music.
