(Courtesy of Chabad of WO/Lubavitch on the Palisades) Chabad of West Orange and Lubavitch on the Palisades will be starting a new six-week course, “Nurturing Relationships,” empowering participants to enhance, enrich and nurture their interpersonal relationships — at home, at work and beyond.
The course at Lubavitch on the Palisades will begin on Tuesday, Nov. 12, from 8-9:15 p.m., 11 Harold St., Tenafly, and will be taught by Rabbi Mordechai Shain. A Zoom option will be available. The cost is $90 (textbook included).
The course at Chabad of West Orange will be held on Wednesdays starting Nov. 13 at 7:30 p.m. at Chabad of West Orange, 401 Pleasant Valley Way, and will be taught by Rabbi Mendy Kasowitz.
Developed by the Rohr Jewish Learning Institute, “Nurturing Relationships” draws on 3,000 years of Jewish teaching to deliver effective tools for better connections. Topics include empathy and active listening, healthy disagreement and conflict resolution, forgiveness and reconciliation, and effective communication and influence.
All community members, regardless of Jewish learning background, are welcome.
