RYNJ is buzzing with excitement as students learned all about the election process! Students learned all about the electoral college, polling, and the voting process through a variety of fun and hands-on activities. Lower school visited the RYNJ Polling Center, where each student received a ballot and got to enter the voting booth to cast their votes. Thank you to our fantastic PTA volunteers who staffed the voting center. Grades one through three enjoyed an informative Q&A session with RYNJ President Avraham Simcha Adler, who shared all about the responsibilities and jobs of a school president. Grades four and five had the amazing privilege of attending a Zoom with the proud RYNJ grandparent U.S. Ambassador to Israel Jack Lew. The students listened attentively as he shared some of his experiences in the U.S. government, and had the opportunity to ask him questions. Thank you Ambassador Lew for an incredible conversation; thank you for making time for RYNJ. Finally, the middle school students took a deeper look into the electoral college, and how it works. RYNJ students are prepared for Election Day!
