The Storm has just completed its final season of travel AAU basketball in Bergen County. The Storm has participated in 12 seasons in the Hoop Heaven Waldwick basketball league. The Storm is comprised of athletes from the local Jewish High Schools—Frisch, SAR, and TABC. The Storm has won countless games and three league championships. More importantly, the Storm has allowed good friends to play a sport they love at a high level and have a great time doing it. Not only did they display a tremendous amount of talent and athleticism, but they respected their opponents, the referees and the game. The kids played “Storm basketball”—aggressive, confident, respectful and relentless. That and great shooting helped them win the majority of their games.
