Over the past few weeks, a group of ninth graders from Heichal Hatorah has been dedicated to helping Tomchei Shabbos prepare packages for distribution. The ninth-grade talmidim were eager to volunteer and proud to make a difference in the community. They packed hundreds of boxes, unloaded shipments of food, and sorted and organized various items that were then sent to families in need.
Ari Wartelsky from Tomchei Shabbos, who directs the volunteers, reports, “The boys from Heichal Hatorah always come with a positive attitude and are willing to help in any way they can.” Tomchei Shabbos is made possible by the support of an incredible group of community volunteers and donors, and it’s a special opportunity for these young men to be part of this important work.
