Rikkud Dance, led by Rochelle Yaros, is having jazz and hip-hop classes for 5-10 year olds in Teaneck on Tuesday evenings beginning September 26.

A class for 5-7 year olds will take place from 4:45 to 5:30 and a class for 8-10 year olds will take place from 5:35 to 6:30.

Rikkud Dance class will provide students with an opportunity to learn Jazz and Hip-Hop technique, along with fun and energetic dances. Each class will entail a warm-up, where students strengthen their coordination and balance, followed by a chance to practice core technique, like turns, leaps and jumps. At the end of each class, dancers will use what they learned to engage in exciting dance routines. Overall, students will have a chance to develop their dancing abilities, all while having fun and interacting with their peers.

Classes will be held at the Young Israel of Teaneck, 868 Perry Lane.

The cost is $15 per class or $135 for 10 classes.
