Weber Media Redefines Jewish Digital Presence

Eli Weber, CEO of Weber Media

Eliyahu “Eli” Weber wasn’t always a media person. A few years ago he was, like many yeshivas students his age, focused on his studies, unsure what the future held. What set him apart was a willingness to take risks and follow his instincts. Fast forward to today, and Weber, now 27, is the founder and CEO of Weber Media, a thriving agency helping Jewish businesses and brands find their voice in the digital world.

The path that first introduced him to social media began with his love for Jewish music, particularly the work of Michoel Schnitzler. Weber was a fan of his voice and message, but when he went online to watch videos of Schnitzler’s performances, there was barely any available. Weber reached out and offered to create a social media page dedicated to his work. To his surprise, Schnitzler agreed.

“That was my first taste of social media management,” Weber explained. “I loved running the page, posting videos and engaging with fans. It gave me joy. And because of it I earned not just a mentor in Schnitzler, but a friend, too.”

Weber worked in construction after finishing yeshiva, but struggled heavily with depression and anxiety. He turned to meditation and realized his life had been consumed by work. Seeking further guidance, he turned to Schnitzler.

“We sat down and I asked him what I should do,” Weber recalled. “He told me, ‘What you did with my social media worked. Do it for others.’ That conversation changed everything for me. Because he was right: I was the happiest when I was working in social media. And so I took a leap, left construction behind, and launched my own company: Weber Media.”

Today, Weber Media boasts a team of 15 employees and manages accounts for over 40 clients. The company helps clients navigate the ever-changing social media landscape, crafting strategies that amplify their voices and drive tangible results.

“It’s incredible how far we’ve come,” Weber said. “We’ve gone from creating fan pages to managing accounts for some of the biggest Jewish brands. Today, we help clients not just get noticed, but thrive, with a focus on Instagram and LinkedIn, while also leveraging platforms like TikTok and Facebook. Whether it’s promoting a new product, engaging with audiences, or growing a business’s reputation, we’re all about creating meaningful connections in the digital space.”

The shift in the Jewish community’s approach to social media has been a key part of Weber Media’s growth. Historically cautious about technology, many Jewish businesses and brands are now recognizing its potential.

“Social media is no longer optional,” Weber continued. “If you want to stay relevant, you need to be online. Even in the Hasidic world, businesses are realizing the power of platforms like Instagram and TikTok. They’re seeing that effective social media presence doesn’t just look good—it drives real results, like increased sales and stronger customer relationships.”

While Weber Media has brought its founder professional success, it’s also been a personal journey. As someone who openly discusses his struggles with anxiety and depression, Weber has made mental wellness a key part of his story. He hosts a podcast, “Podsitivity,” where he discusses mental health, mindfulness and the importance of maintaining a positive outlook.

“Mental health is something we don’t talk about enough in the Jewish world,” Weber noted. “But without a healthy mind, you can’t achieve anything. Pessimism kills progress, and that’s why I focus so much on building a positive mindset. Once you have that, the sky’s the limit.”

The young entrepreneur also credits much of his success to his faith and the supportive people around him.

“I obviously didn’t have a business background when I started,” Weber shared. “I learned on the fly and sought advice from those who knew more than me. Success comes when you put yourself out there and believe in your dream. If you don’t have an eagerness to learn, you’re going to have a difficult road.”

Looking ahead, he is focused on growing Weber Media and continuing to help Jewish brands thrive in the digital age. The company is actively taking on new clients.

“Hashem owns my company; I am just the CEO,” Weber said. “Every step of this journey has been about hard work and trusting that Hashem will guide me. Weber Media started with a leap of faith, and I’m excited to see where it will take us next.”
