(Courtesy of Bergen B’Yachad) Rosh Chodesh Kislev brought an uplifting and meaningful experience to the residents of CareOne in Teaneck, as Bergen B’Yachad partnered with Ari Greene and Dovid Rubin of the BaRock Orchestra to host a special davening. The highlight of the morning was a soulful, musical Hallel accompanied by the melodies of a guitar, which filled the room with a sense of joy and spiritual connection.

The unique atmosphere brought residents and minyan goers together, breaking up the monotony of daily life in a rehab facility. The music and communal davening created an inspiring experience for all who attended, providing a spiritual recharge for the new month.

Following the davening, attendees enjoyed a delicious breakfast where minyan participants and CareOne residents had the opportunity to connect and share meaningful conversations. For many residents, it was a much needed moment of warmth, interaction and a sense of belonging.

One CareOne resident shared, “If there was a minyan here every day, I would be up early. That would get me going. Kol hakavod and thank you for this beautiful morning.”

Bergen B’Yachad’s mission is to bring Jews together and build meaningful connections to each other and to Hashem. This Rosh Chodesh event exemplified that mission, showing how a small act of bringing community into CareOne could have such a significant impact.

Bergen B’Yachad thanked everyone who participated and helped make this event possible. May the new month of Kislev bring joy, unity and light to all.
