In honor of the 100th anniversary of the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, the creative Westchester Day School second graders were given an incredible opportunity—designing 29 brand-new balloons for this year’s celebration! Macy’s president shared, “We’re thrilled to collaborate with such a talented and imaginative group of young designers. This partnership brings a fresh and joyful spirit to our 100th celebration.” WDS students worked hard, brainstorming, sketching and refining their designs through a writer’s workshop, before handing them off to Macy’s balloon artists.
