Fairleigh Dickinson University Men’s Basketball Coach Herenda spoke to Prof. Ira Jaskoll’s class of students in the FDU Yeshiva Program. Coach Herenda, an excellent motivational speaker, encouraged the students to pursue their career goals and aspirations with a passion and conviction and to never give up. He described his career path to becoming the successful coach of the FDU Men’s Basketball Team which won the NEC Championship and was selected to the NCAA Tournament in 2016. He also runs a highly successful Basketball Camp, the Coach Herenda Hoop School, which attracts many players from local yeshivas. The camp offer kosher pizza and snacks and meets in the lovely FDU Rothman Center. Coach Herenda wished the students best of luck and invited them to attend FDU basketball games in the Fall. He also gave an FDU shirt to one lucky student as a gift.
