The Moriah School’s 14th Annual Summer Outing held on August 14 was a huge success. Taking place at the beautiful Edgewood Country Club in River Vale, New Jersey, Moriah’s outing saw a record crowd with over 130 golfers, 25 tennis players, eight cyclists and over 200 dinner guests.

Since its inception, the Moriah Summer Outing has raised over $2.5 million. One hundred percent of the money raised at the Summer Outing funds scholarships and financial aid programs at our school.

Moriah would like to thank our event chairs Ranit and Gabe Shiff, Daniela and Zev Gontownik, Livia and Elias Marcovici, Jessica and Daniel Yunger, Tanya and Darren Wolf and Jordana and Adam Altman. While many of us take a break from Moriah over the summer, the event chairs and their entire committee were fully engaged on behalf of our school and made this year’s event the most successful one yet. Congratulations to them all on a job well done!

We would also like to thank tennis event chairs Melanie and Matt Sosland and Michal and Noam Sheps, cycling event chairs Rivka and Dov Gertzulin and Roni and Yehuda Blinder and fitness event chairs Nurit and Haim Chasman and Anna and Kevin Jacobs. The entire auction committee, which comprised over 50 couples, did an outstanding job and we thank each of them for their efforts, with a special thank you to Elysha Rothstein and Rivka Gertzulin for their behind-the-scenes work.
