Rauzman Powers TABC Storm Past Cobras

The TABC varsity hockey team traveled to Livingston for a Sunday morning clash with the Kushner Cobras. The Storm were looking to pad their lead in the division with the Cobras right behind them in second place. Facing a big three-game week, the Storm entered the Kushner rink determined to start off on the right foot. Aiden Rauzman ’25 did just that, netting three of his four goals in the first period and a half. After a goal from Livingston-native Aryeh Simon ’25, Kushner was able to cut the lead to three, but with five seconds left in the second period, senior Yonatan Brothman gave the Storm their fifth goal of the day with a beautiful cut toward the net.

The final period turned out to be a back-and-forth affair with the Cobras scoring twice to cut the lead to 5-3. Rauzman, with another brilliant shot, brought the lead back up to 6-3 and senior Aryeh Eizikovitz added to the lead. Simon scored a powerplay goal late in the third to put the game out of reach for the Cobras. The Storm won by a final score of 8-4 and continued their undefeated season.
