(Courtesy of Yad Leah) CTeen of Chabad of NW Bergen County of Franklin Lakes visited the Yad Leah Volunteer Center in Passaic to sort and pack boxes. CTeen, short for Chabad Teen Network, is an international program under the auspices of Chabad-Lubavitch that provides Jewish teens with opportunities to connect, grow and engage with their heritage in a meaningful way. One of the main components of their program is volunteer work.

“This was a very meaningful, impactful Jewish experience for the teens. Taking part in sorting and packing the donated clothes made them feel part of a large giving community and gave them the opportunity to send a powerful message of solidarity and compassion to Israel. Every item packed was a reminder that together, we can make a difference,” said Mimi Kaplan, director of the Chabad of NW Bergen County in Franklin Lakes.
