(Courtesy of Ematai) Ematai and Cong. Ohr Torah in Edison hosted an engaging “legacy letters” workshop led by Bassie Taubes, director of community outreach for Ematai. Participants enjoyed a delicious lunch and an inspiring program organized by Edison Program Director Aliyana Wasserman. Taubes shared the historical significance of legacy letters and provided practical guidelines for crafting these meaningful messages to loved ones. Attendees were encouraged to reflect on their values, memories and blessings, and some even shared excerpts of their letters with the group. The event fostered a warm and reflective atmosphere, leaving participants feeling empowered to preserve their legacy through words, pictures and videos.
