Moriah’s robotics club, led by Sandra. Knoll recently made its competitive debut at the CIJE VEX Robotics Competition held at HAFTR. The competition challenged teams to collaborate with allies to maximize points through skillful passing and scoring. Moriah sent seven mixed grade teams of three students each. Teams put in lunch periods and after school hours designing their own robots. The results were amazing! Zachary Katz (team captain), William Isak and Eli Koslowe took first place out of 107 teams and won gold medals! One of Moriah’s other teams, Michael Dweck (team co-captain), Hannah Kratz (team co-captain) and Eitan Zeffren secured an impressive 21st place finish. The incredible achievement of Moriah students at their first robotics competition is a testament to the dedication and hard work of these young individuals who have been diligently preparing for this competition since September. Congratulations to all the teams on their outstanding performance! Everyone eagerly anticipates their continued success as they prepare for their next challenge in March.
