The Teaneck Orthodox Retiree Association (TORA) will be holding its second lunch and lecture event on Tuesday, September 26, at Congregation Beth Abraham at 12 p.m. The speaker will be Rebbetzin Peshi Neuburger, and her topic will be “Mizmor 27: Undertones of Atonement.” Note that Psalm 27 is L’David Hashem Ori. Since this date falls between Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur, and that we recite this psalm twice daily throughout Elul and most of Tishrei, the topic is very timely. Cost is $10 for those who make a reservation before Rosh Hashanah and $15 for those who just show up.
