As Yeshivat He’Atid continues to grow, so does the school’s commitment to Ivrit b’Ivrit and exposing students to authentic Israeli culture. An important component of the Ivrit program is bringing in shlichim from Israel to teach and inspire. In addition to three veteran shlichim, Oshrat and Ido Benshahar and Ziva Weiss, Giyora and Sharon Lev have joined the Yeshivat He’Atid family with their three girls, Yahel (third grade), Ya’ara (pre-k), and Neta (two years old).
The Levs come to He’Atid from Kevutzat Yavneh, a “kibbutz amiti” at which Sharon serves as a guidance counselor (she is also a professional art therapist). Giyorah has been teaching for nine years. Together, the Levs will strengthen the avira in Yeshivat He’Atid’s middle school, teaching Chumash, Navi, Mishna and Ivrit.
