Throughout the year, Yeshivat He’Atid will increase its focus on midot tovot. The school’s new social worker, Ariela Brum, is spearheading a program focused on teaching kindness. Every month, a new form of kindness will represent the theme of the month. Brum will introduce the midah to each class at the start of the month and students will be encouraged to practice kindness to one another.

As a way of motivating students, a kindness tree has been placed in the second floor hallway. Students can earn leaves for acts of kindness (at home or at school) and have their leaves placed on the tree. What a perfect way to start the new year!
