My fourth round of reserve duty and return to work.
What a great way to get back to business and civilian life! After being called up for a fourth time to reserve duties since October 7, we were able to close a deal on one of the nicest projects being built, as we speak, in San Simon.
This was not one of those straightforward deals; it was quite a roller coaster ride, but what deal is not?! I think it lends a hand to the saying “Nothing worth having comes easy.” This specific couple got to me through a recommendation, and they were looking into a different development nearby that didn’t fit their needs. I had to think outside of the box to find them the perfect apartment.
When I came across this project I felt like it could be just right for them. There was only one issue—this project didn’t come with a bank guarantee—a bit of a drawback for them and other potential clients, for obvious reasons. I decided to not let them lose this opportunity, and I suggested we have a meeting with the developer (well known in the city) in order to reassure them. Once they met and saw that they were dealing with one of the top developers in town, they were calm and trusted that buying an apartment in this project would be the right deal for them.
Sometimes as a real estate agent, it’s important for me to find the right balance between pushing my clients when I feel the property is right for them, and letting them make their own decisions. I don’t believe in convincing my clients by pressure, rather by sensibility, and finding them the right people to speak to so they make the final decision on their own based on the information they’ve gathered—and that’s what happened in this deal.
I can tell you that one of the greatest feelings, after my clients find and sign on a property, is when I know and can feel this was the right one for them. I enjoy making my clients happy, and even more so, fulfilling their dreams of owning a property in our homeland.
A special thank you to:
Yael and Eliezer Goldberg for working behind the scenes (especially Yael), since this all happened exactly when her husband Eliezer was sitting shiva for his brother who fell in battle in Lebanon.
יהי זכרו של ר׳ אבי ברוך גולדברג!
Congratulations to our new clients who will be moving into one of the nicest boutique projects in town.
