Jewish Home Family Joins Forces for Holiday Toy Drive

(Courtesy of The Jewish Home) This holiday season, the Jewish Home Family proudly participated in a heartwarming holiday toy drive benefiting children in our local area through Jewish Family & Children’s Services of Northern New Jersey (JFCS). The initiative brought together staff, vendors and families from across the organization to deliver hope and joy during the holiday season.

The Jewish Home Family, which operates both Jewish Home Assisted Living in River Vale, New Jersey, and Jewish Home at Rockleigh, New Jersey, embraced the spirit of giving by organizing a community-wide collection of gifts. Staff members from both campuses, as well as vendors who partner with Jewish Home Family, contributed new, unwrapped toys, ensuring that children of all ages would experience the excitement and warmth of the holidays.

“At Jewish Home Family, we are committed to enriching the lives of those in our care, and making a positive impact on our local community,” said Carol Silver Elliott, CEO of Jewish Home Family. “This year’s holiday toy drive was a wonderful opportunity to unite our staff, families and partners in the spirit of generosity. We’re honored to play a part in helping to spread joy to children and families served by Jewish Family & Children’s Services of Northern New Jersey.”

The donations will benefit children from underserved communities in Northern New Jersey, ensuring they receive much-needed gifts during the holiday season. The Jewish Home Family’s involvement in this event highlights the organization’s longstanding commitment to community outreach and the importance of fostering strong, compassionate relationships with local organizations.

In addition to the direct impact on the children who will receive the gifts, the holiday toy drive also fostered a sense of unity and connection among the elders, their families and the broader Jewish Home Family community. Many of the staff from Jewish Home Assisted Living and Jewish Home at Rockleigh enjoyed participating in the drive, helping to select the gifts for local children.
