Jewish Family Service of Central New Jersey (JFSCNJ) and Temple Emanu-El of Westfield will be holding a five-session “Widowed Support Group” on Thursdays from 11 a.m. to noon. The support group starts on January 9, at the Lavy House, 748 E. Broad Street, Westfield, New Jersey. Dates for the group are: January 9, 16, 23 and 30, and February 6, 2025. Ample parking at the Temple Emanu-El lot is available.

The support group will be facilitated by Nancy Rosenthal, LCSW, JFSCNJ therapist, and will explore how grief over the loss of a spouse or partner impacts our daily lives. “The group will provide a safe environment to share feelings and gain support while learning to cope with the loss of a spouse or partner,” she said.
