(Courtesy of Black Box Studio) On Sunday, Jan. 12 and Monday, Jan. 13 at 7 p.m., the Black Box Studio’s Improv Comedy and Adult Acting workshops will present their end of semester performances at Debonair Music Hall, 1409 Queen Anne Road in Teaneck. Tickets are $15 ($10 for students) and are available in advance at www.debonairmusichall.com or at the door starting 30 minutes before curtain.
Featuring Rachel Antal, Englewood; Yehudah Gelfond, Bergenfield; Shira Golubtchik, Teaneck; Devora Krischer, Teaneck; Ellen Krischer, Teaneck; Rachel Okin, Englewood; Jeffery Lubin Dumont; Brian Shanblatt from Fair Lawn and more, the evening will feature a single set of audience participatory improv comedy followed by a full-length mystery play suitable for ages 13 and up.
The class members have been meeting each Monday evening since September to hone their improv and acting skills, rehearse and prepare, and they will reconvene from February through early June for the spring semester at Black Box Studios.
