The Moriah School is greatly appreciative to the Jewish Federation of Northern New Jersey for enabling its students to benefit from the Achieve3000 and Newsela programs. Using these two digital programs has helped the upper lower school and middle school students get off to a great start. Both Achieve3000 and Newsela enable students to increase their individual Lexile scores and build reading comprehension skills in addition to analytical skills of nonfiction text,  including current events. Last year, Moriah students more than doubled the expected Lexile gains in a single academic year. This partnership between Moriah and the Jewish Federation of Northern New Jersey has greatly enhanced the students’ educational experience and breadth of learning.
