Cheder Yaldei Menachem learned about fire safety from the firefighters themselves. When prepared in a safe manner, fire warms and lights up the surrounding area, yet fire can also be dangerous. The incredible Hillside firefighters explained how to stay safe with fire, and what to do if there is an unsafe fire. They also showed the children the firefighters’ role in putting out a fire. The children got to explore the safety gear they wear and equipment they use, including the incredible fire truck. What an engaging learning experience!
