SAR High School Drama Society presented “The Lightning Thief,” with music and lyrics by Joe Tracz and book by Rick Riordan. The musical is an adaptation of the classic book series Percy Jackon in which the protagonist and his crew of half-bloods, children of a Greek god and mortal, go on a killer-quest to save Percy’s reputation and learn to “Bring On the Real World.”

The cast worked hard for countless months, staying after school three nights a week to create an electric show. They challenged themselves by mastering their harmonies and tackling tricky dances, all while memorizing their lines. Yasher koach to the entire cast and crew.
