The BPY 5th graders developed essential skills in research, notetaking and writing both informational and narrative pieces, all while honing their writing mechanics through the writing process. After conducting in-depth research on explorers, they created detailed explorer portfolios and artistic representations that showcased key aspects of their findings. Once their projects were complete, the 5th graders proudly presented their research to the 4th graders. During their visit to the 5th grade “Explorer Museum,” the 4th graders took notes on what they learned and shared their compliments with the presenters!
