The custom of giving Chanukah gelt to children is about recognizing their investment in the chain of Jewish education. Cheder Yaldei Menachem was honored to welcome Stephanie Kahane and Richie Pomerantz. They were presented with special performances in each class and then gifted each child with real Chanukah gelt along with chocolate gelt.
