Heichal talmidim focused on celebrating Chanukah with action-packed festivities, including indoor surfing, grade-wide competitions and a school-wide mesiba. The mesiba began with a shiur klali from Rav Aryeh Stechler, Rosh Yeshiva, who spoke on the topic of Chanukah. Following the shiur, the talmidim enjoyed an elaborate lunch spread. The excitement was palpable as the boys were led in dancing by the Heichal band. The talmidim and rabbeim marked the last night of Chanukah with a concert performance by the rising singing sensation, Yidi Bialostozky.

The festivities continued the following morning, when the entire yeshiva was treated to ice cream from Matan’s Creamery, a company founded and operated by Heichal’s own ninth-grade talmid, Matan Moskowitz. The week culminated with an exciting trip to the American Dream water park, where the talmidim were able to relax and recharge before midterm exams. For many, the highlight of the week was the school-wide singing of hallel and a farbrengen. The talmidim were moved by the powerful tefillos, which resonated deeply during the holiday of Chanukah.
