After a refreshing winter break, WTA students returned to school on the last day of Chanukah, eager to put their holiday knowledge to the test! In the weeks leading up to the holiday, students dove into the story, history, halachot and minhagim of Chanukah in their classrooms. On the eighth day, they participated in a lively Chanukah chidon, a trivia contest full of fun and excitement.

As with WTA’s other holiday chidonim, students were divided into teams by grade level. For this Chanukah edition, the competition took on a Jeopardy-style format, with teams selecting topics and answering in question form. The winning teams from each grade level hold their title with pride—until the next WTA holiday chidon!
