On Sunday, October 29, Yeshiva University High School for Boys will host a special program for former MTA and BTA athletes, as one of the culminating events of the yeshiva’s centennial celebration.
The program, which will take place on Yeshiva University’s uptown Wilf Campus, will begin with a brunch reception at 11:00 a.m., providing athletes spanning across multiple generations with the chance to reconnect and reminisce. Following the brunch, participants will have the opportunity to relive their glory days with a variety of basketball and/or hockey competitions taking place in the legendary Lions’ Den and Max Stern Athletics Center.
Dov Quint, a 2004 MTA graduate who both played for the Lions as a student and coached the varsity team to a championship in 2011, is chairing the event. “Athletics has always been a major part of the fabric of the YUHSB experience. The opportunity to revisit great memories with former teammates and celebrate the thousands of athletes who have represented our school on the court is a special one,” said Quint, who also serves as a member of the Yeshiva University High Schools Board of Trustees.
