Ma’ayanot’s Health Science elective students had the privilege of learning from Lauren Brukner, a successful occupational therapist and author (and proud Ma’ayanot mom!). She shared her expertise, demonstrating tools and techniques used to support children in therapy. Inspired by her visit, students took on the role of occupational therapists, tackling real-world scenarios. They researched conditions, developed therapy plans and even designed innovative devices to help their “patients.” A hands-on experience that brought learning to life!
