After learning about Thanksgiving, the children looked at corn that still had its husk. They really wanted to see what the corn looked like inside so everyone had the opportunity to shuck the corn. They also had a great time playing with a bin of dried corn kernels, scooping them out and putting them into different containers. After that the children painted with the corn—their favorite part.
