Before Yeshivah break, the BPY first grade students received their new siddur. This year, the theme of the siddur party was—A Prayer Journey in the Land of Israel. The program opened with a chapter of Tehillim for the peace and security of the Land of Israel, the people of Israel and the soldiers. After the students sang a song of thanks (also in Sign Language), they set out on a journey—they visited various places in Israel and each appeared with a prayer related to that place. The parents watched a beautiful video in which each student offered a personal prayer. This past Monday before break the students used their new siddurim for the first time. BPY congratulates the students and hopes that all their prayers will be answered by HaShem.
