Bestselling author Dan Gutman visited Ramaz Lower School’s grades two, three and four to talk about several of his books and life as an author. Mr. Gutman has written more than 190 books for readers from kindergarten through middle school and focused each presentation on one or two specific titles and series, including “My Weird School,” “Houdini and Me,” “Baseball Card Adventures” and more. He shared how he wrote some of his most popular books and explained how Ramaz students can create their own stories with his nine simple steps that include to “research” for their story, give their plots an “obstacle,” and add a “surprise ending.” The students were thrilled to meet one of their favorite authors and asked insightful questions. It was a wonderful experience for all the students and helped everyone tap into their passion for reading and writing.
