The children of the Lauren Elise Bier Nursery School of Congregation AABJ&D in West Orange, New Jersey gathered together for a beautiful morning with special guest Rebbetzin Marcus, wife of Rabbi Alvin Marcus, z”l (Rabbi Emeritus of Congregation AABJ&D), Josh Marcus and community members who were close with the Marcus Family to commemorate the third yahrzeit of Rabbi Marcus. Together everyone shared in tefillah, heard some beautiful stories and enjoyed a sweet treat on which they made a bracha so Rabbi Marcus’ Neshama was zoche to have an aliyah.
