Bruriah Juniors Set Goals For Semester Ahead

In the spirit of the new semester which brings fresh opportunities for learning, friendships and personal growth, Bruriah’s junior class gathered for a self-reflection exercise during their weekly advisory period. Each student was given a chart designed to assess their current relationships with friends, family and Hashem. They then reflected on which of those areas might benefit from improvement and considered ways to make meaningful changes going forward.

Students enjoyed the chance for introspection that the activity provided, while allowing them to be intentional and structured about their goal-setting. Junior Mimi Pearlman shared, “This activity empowered me to forge my own path and cultivate my strengths and talents in the months ahead.” Junior Yael Finkel agreed, adding “It was a fantastic way to help us think about our futures in a way that was goal-oriented but not pressuring.”

As Bruriah cultivates personal growth in each student, this exercise will undoubtedly contribute to the empowerment and direction of Bruriah students in this area in the months ahead.
