This week, Westchester Day School kindergarten students wrapped up their weather unit in science with an exciting, hands-on experience using a green screen. As a culminating project, students learned about the technology behind weather reports and had the opportunity to step into the role of meteorologists themselves. From forecasting sunny skies to predicting rainy days, the young scientists put their knowledge to the test and recorded their own weather reports.

Through this interactive experience, students not only deepened their understanding of weather patterns but also gained exposure to the science of broadcasting. Their enthusiasm and creativity shone as they confidently shared their forecasts.
