TABC joined with NCSY to send a chesed mission to Houston last week. The group of TABC students, together with several public school students, worked to remove furniture and demolish moldy walls in homes affected by the hurricane. They went to the Aishel House to do bikur cholim by delivering packages to patients there and helped bring chizuk to the families with ruach throughout Shabbat. Actor Dennis Quaid visited the group during their work. The appreciative Houston residents were so inspired by the chesed that they treated the TABC students to two meals during their stay. On the lighter side, the group was able to take a break from their hard work by enjoying some time at Dave and Busters and taking in a Houston Rockets game.
