Ben Porat Yosef elementary and middle school students were privileged to hear from Captain Myles Melnicoff, a veteran of the U.S. Army, on Friday, November 10. Captain Melnicoff has served in both the reserves and active duty, and has been stationed in thirteen different states and three different countries. He taught the students about the origins of Veterans Day and shared stories about his experiences as a Jewish soldier in the U.S. Army.
