Nearly 40 grandparents gathered at Morristown Jewish Center last week for the launch of Federation’s new PJ Library Grandparents Connection, a group that offers grandparents an opportunity to learn, network and share ideas while exploring their critical role as models of Jewish culture and traditions in their family and community. The group also is working on raising funds to ensure the PJ Library program continues to thrive in Greater MetroWest. Paula Gottesman (center) was presented with the PJ Library Founder’s Award to honor the Jerry and Paula Gottesman Family Supporting Foundation for launching and sustaining the program in the community for the past 10 years. Ilene Wolff and Beena Levy (left) are co-chairs of the new group, and Maxine Murnick (right) is a major supporter of the PJ Library program.
